Bennington Fire Rescue provides Fire and Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Bennington, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as mutual aid to surrounding communities. Our department operates out of one station located in the center of Bennington equipped with an Engine, Tanker, Rescue/EMS Unit, and a Forestry Unit.

Bennington Fire Rescue is made up of 13 Paid Call members. Our membership consists of electricians, chemists, equipment operators, truck drivers, carpenters, automotive technicians and highway workers. Despite our current numbers, we continue to actively seek people to come join our team. As a member of Bennington Fire Rescue, you will receive all of the necessary training to become a Firefighter or EMT. Experience in the fire service is helpful, but by no means required.
